Market relevance:
"Industry Experts" from within a company enjoy by far the highest level of trust among the public. Using them as brand ambassadors increases the communicative punch. Given the variety of programmatic approaches, it is not always easy to find the "right" program for the organization and to introduce it successfully. Employees must be empowered and enabled to act competently as "brand ambassadors."

Microsoft Germany set up a broad-based program early on that basically turned all employees into brand ambassadors. To this end, specific qualification measures were developed to provide assistance and set guidelines. Most recently, I setup the Microsoft Speakers Bureau at Microsoft, which aims to position experts in conferences, trade fairs and events on strategically relevant topics.
